Valve is bringing Steam to Linux this year. EA games is rolling in the sack with Ubuntu, which will eventually spread to the rest of the Linux community. Other companies are stroking their chins and muttering, "go on..." as Microsoft prepares to launch Windows 8.
Mark Shuttleworth has claimed 5% as the number of computers to be released this year with Ubuntu OS installed instead of Windows or Mac.
Linux is on its way to becoming mainstream.
